A team of experienced nutritionists and laboratory specialists stands at the basis of continous product developments.
New products and concepts are tested in the research facilities of the VanDrie Group before market introduction. Research topics may vary from fundamental digestibility trials in the Digestibility Unit to practical application trials in the Calf Rearing Unit.
Quality Assurance
The selection of raw materials is based on strict specifications. Each raw material is tested at the Schils laboratory before unloading at the plant. Furthurmore, a sample of each end-poduct is tested before shipping to our customers. Our laboratory uses modern equipment like NIRS, HPLC and AAS. Besides our GMP -, HACCP-, IS09001- and IS022000- certification, Schils’ Quality Program is part of Saftery Guard, the awarded Quality Concept of the VanDrie Group.
